OK. I took some time off...

2022 was a hectic time in the Born household. As a result, I obviously took some time away from writing and keeping up with anything website or blog or social media related. Work was busy. Family was busy. And all that will always be busy, but we've got kiddo number two out and working, leaving just kiddo number three to finish high school.

Point is, here in 2025, I started writing again - with vigor! Got a hundred-ish pages into a science fiction book and lost interest. But then the real fun began. I started a new historical fantasy novel that takes some amazing, gritty real history and overlays a spiritual element. Essentially pulling the veil back to reveal what might actually be going on as we go about our daily lives in mundane or amazing ways.

Stay tuned. I'm in the thick of writing now. Hope to wrap it up in early-mid 2026 and have it picked up for publication soon thereafter.
